| Brothers recorded a fourth blown save Thursday and has walked six batters in his last three outings, so clearly he has some things to work on in the minors. It's a terrible turn of events for Brothers, who has the potential to be a closer one day. Brothers cruised through April and was emerging as a top setup man before hitting the skids in May. He posted a 9.95 ERA and walked eight batters in 6 1/3 innings this month. Consider cutting Brothers while he's toiling in the minors. (Updated 05/20/2012). |
