| Brown is now a Rockie: The Rockies claimed 1B/OF Andrew Brown off waivers from the Cardinals on Wednesday. The Cardinals had designated Brown for assignment on Monday. Brown was an All-Star in the Pacific Coast League this season, batting .284 with 20 homers and 73 RBI, and he also appeared in 11 games with St. Louis. (Updated 10/12/2011) |
