| Brewers snap up Sea Bass: The Brewers agreed to sign free agent SS Alex Gonzalez to a one-year deal with a vesting option on Thursday, according to FOXSports.com. Gonzalez was one of the few remaining free agent shortstop options left, especially with Jimmy Rollins believed to be staying with the Phillies. He hit .241 with 15 home runs for the Braves this season. (Updated 12/08/2011) |
