| Carson packaged to minors: The New York Mets recalled relief pitcher Jack Egbert from Triple-A Buffalo on Friday. In order to clear a spot on the active roster for Egbert, the Mets optioned fellow reliever Robert Carson to Double-A Binghamton. Carson was recalled by the team last Thursday. (Updated 05/25/2012) |
