Borenstein went 1-for-3 with a double and a run in Triple-A Reno's 10-3 loss to El Paso on Friday. He's batting .240 through 25 at-bats this season.
Borenstein had a solid spring as he batted .303 with four RBI and seven runs in 33 at-bats. Last year between Double-A Mobile and Triple-A Reno, the 25-year-old slugged .289 with 10 homers, 60 RBI, and 48 runs over 103 games. If the outfielder can produce another season with a high average at Triple-A Reno, he could have a shot at being promoted to the big leagues at some point in 2016.
