FA-to-be Nady to be ready for '10: From The Sports Xchange notes: OF Xavier Nady, who had season-ending surgery July 8, stopped by to visit with his teammates before Monday night's game at Los Angeles of Anaheim. Nady, who had "Tommy John" surgery to end his year, lives in Southern California. The team's opening-day right fielder will be a free agent next year and said he thinks he can be ready to play when the season begins. The affable Nady has kept in touch with teammates and plans on seeing his teammates again this weekend when he will go to Yankee Stadium during the crucial series against Boston.
