| Hinske tossed after at-bat: Atlanta pinch-hitter Eric Hinske was ejected in the top of the eighth inning after he was called out on strikes by home-plate umpire Mike Muchlinski on Friday. Hinske tried to hold up on a two-strike pitch from Cardinals reliever Mitchell Boggs, but the ump had a different point-of-view. Hinske was tossed after his lone at-bat in the game. The Braves would win the game, 9-7, in 12 innings. (Updated 05/12/2012) |

| Hinske is batting .386 on the year with one homer and seven RBI. He has just 38 at-bats on the season, as he's not an everyday player for the Braves.
