Reds starter Bronson Arroyo served up two home runs but did not factor in the decision in Friday's 4-3 win in extras over the Brewers.

Arroyo allowed a solo home run to Scooter Gennett in the third and a solo shot to Martin Maldonado in the eighth, which tied the game. The right-hander permitted three runs -- two earned -- on 12 hits and one walk while striking out five in 7 2/3 innings.

Arroyo has allowed two runs or fewer in each of his last three starts. He is scheduled to make his next start Wednesday at home against the Pirates.

Reds starter Bronson Arroyo turned in a solid outing but did not factor in the decision Sunday night against the Cardinals.

Arroyo surrendered a solo home run to Carlos Beltran and a run-scoring double to Yadier Molina all in the fourth inning for his only damage of the night. The right-hander permitted two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out four in six innings pitched. He threw 84 pitches, 56 for strikes.

Arroyo has allowed just two runs over his last 14 innings pitched. He is scheduled to make his next start Friday at home against Milwaukee. He allowed five hits in 6 2/3 scoreless innings in his previous meeting against the Brewers on May 12.
