| Hafner to return to Cleveland: According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Indians general manager Chris Antonetti said DH Travis Hafner would return to the team in 2012, despite playing in just 94 games because of injuries. "What Travis has continued to demonstrate is that, when he's healthy and on the field, he's a productive hitter," said Antonetti. "So when we look to next year's team, we think Travis is going to be healthy and if he is, he'll be a productive player for us." (Updated 09/30/2011) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Hafner hit .280 with 16 doubles, 13 homers and 57 RBI for the Indians. He continues to slide further and further out of Fantasy relevance since his shoulder troubles began in 2007, but it seems he did enough this year to give him one more chance. He's entering the final year of his contract for $13 million, so if they do decide to cut ties with him they'll have to find a new DH. Fantasy owners should view him as more of an AL-only option on Draft Day in 2012. (Updated 09/30/2011). |
