  • Infante back from three-game absence: Marlins second baseman Omar Infante rejoined the starting lineup Wednesday against the Rockies after missing three games because of a personal leave. Fantasy Analysis
After homering five times in his first 13 games, Infante has left the yard just once in his last 23 contests. You knew his early-season power surge likely wouldn't last because he is not that type of hitter. But it's not like Infante has completely fallen off the map. He is batting .333 with six doubles, 11 runs and 13 RBI in his last 23 games. He continues to be a viable low-end Fantasy starter in mixed leagues.

May 5, 2012: Marlins outlast Padres in 12 innings
Omar Infante doubled in the go-ahead run in the 12th inning to give the Miami Marlins a 9-8 win over the San Diego Padres on Friday.
May 4, 2012: Di Fino: The art of buying low
There's nothing new about the buy-low concept, but the way an owner goes about it is the key. Our Nando Di Fino shares a few of his current buy-low candidates and how he'd go about obtaining them in trade.
May 3, 2012: Ramirez, Marlins finish sweep of Giants
Hanley Ramirez drove in a pair of runs without a hit to back Anibal Sanchez's first win in four starts, and the Miami Marlins rebounded from a rough stretch for a 3-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Thursday and a three-game sweep.
