| Rivera re-ups with the Dodgers: The Dodgers signed OF Juan Rivera to a one-year deal worth $4.5 million. The contract, which is pending a physical, also includes a $4 million option for the 2013 season. Rivera was traded from the Blue Jays to the Dodgers in midseason this year, and he batted .258 with 11 home runs and 74 RBI for Toronto and Los Angeles. (Updated 11/03/2011) |

| Rivera is not the power hitter he once was, so even with full-time at-bats, he is an NL-only option at best. However, if the Dodgers are ready to let prospect Jerry Sands take over left field duties, Rivera would be a part-timer, and as such, could be ignored in nearly all Fantasy formats.
