| Cancel optioned to Triple-A: MLB.com reports that the Astros promoted minor leaguer Carlos Corporan after Thursday's loss to the Cardinals. In correspondence, they optioned catcher Robinson Cancel to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Cancel didn't record a hit in a brief stint with Houston this season. (Updated 06/10/2011) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Cancel got six at-bats this season in the bigs since being brought up at the end of May, but he is more of a career minor-leaguer. He was hitting a solid .324 before his last stint in the majors, so he will likely pick up where he left off. Still, Cancel was a temporary fix that didn't work out with the Astros, so ignore him in all Fantasy formats going forward. (Updated 06/10/2011). |
