| De La Rosa pulled from rehab: The Rockies have recalled rehabbing starter Jorge De La Rosa from his assignment with Triple-A Colorado Springs on Saturday, reports MLB.com. De La Rosa is dealing with left forearm tightness and the rehab had to be stopped for the moment. De La Rosa was hoping to return to the rotation from Tommy John surgery on June 2 against the Dodgers. That won't happen now as he needs to go on the DL with the new forearm injury. After seven days, he will be placed back on the DL and will get a new 30-day injury rehab window. (Updated 05/19/2012) |

| De La Rosa was hoping to return June 2 but clearly wasn't ready. His rehab window expires on May 27 and he is now frozen for seven days until he can be put on the DL again with forearm tightness. He's probably not coming back for Colorado until at least the later days of June. Stay tuned to the updates regarding De La Rosa, but this news is not good. De La Rosa has compiled four straight winning seasons with the Rockies while posting nearly a strikeout per inning. He should be reserved in NL-only Fantasy formats. (Updated 05/19/2012). |
