| Prior shut down in minors: Yankees pitcher Mark Prior is dealing with shoulder discomfort, which has plagued him his entire career. Prior has made six appearance with the Yankees’ rookie-level club since August 5 as part of a rehab program for a strained groin. He hurt the groin in April while pitching at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. There is no timetable for when Prior will take the mound again. (Updated 08/23/2011) |
