Fantasy Analysis

Brantley, one of the pieces in the CC Sabathia deal with the Brewers in 2008, has long-term potential. He could get a look with the Indians down the stretch and be useful in AL-only formats, particularly Rotisserie. Grady Sizemore (elbow) could shut it down early and give Brantley full-time at-bats even. Veras is nothing more than a low-end middle reliever for the deepest of AL-only leagues that use true middle men down the stretch.
