Rangers send RP Eyre to minors: The Rangers promoted outfielder Julio Borbon to bolster a short bench, and put him in the lineup Monday night for his major league debut. Right-handed Willie Eyre was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City. The Rangers had eight relievers with only three players on the bench before the move.
