They also optioned C Pete Laforest to Portland of the PCL, sent RHP Jason Anderson and 1B Walter Young outright Portland and reassigned RHP Seth Etherton, RHP Jon Adkins, LHP Ryan Meaux, INF Ricky Gutierrez and OF Jack Cust to their minor league camp.
