Greinke falls to Tigers: Kansas City ace Zack Greinke struck out nine hitters on Wednesday but lost to the Detroit Tigers. Greinke fell to 10-5 on the season as he allowed three runs on seven hits over six innings. He walked two and his ERA is at 2.12 for the year. He didn't have his normal command as he needed 100 pitches to go just six frames.

Greinke has lost two straight starts but the Royals have scored exactly one run in those starts. He isn't pitching poorly, though he is not nearly as lights out as he was earlier this year, the team is just struggling. He remains a high-end Fantasy option for use at all times because he's been one of the most consistent starters in Fantasy all year. His next start will come after the break against Tampa Bay.
