Fantasy Analysis

Encarnacion was taken off the DL on July 3 and has been in the lineup every day since. He is hitting only .169 on the season after a terrible month of April to start the season. Hopefully this performance will help spark his season and get him going in the right direction. He's still just an Nl-only option until he proves that he can perform on a consistent basis.

Encarnacion, who'd been on the disabled list since April 28 with a chip fracture in his left wrist, was not in Friday's starting lineup. He was hitting .127 with one homer and six RBIs in 19 games when he was injured. He hit .270 with two home runs and eight RBIs in 11 rehab appearances at Triple-A Louisville.
