| Young makes second Class A start: Mets starting pitcher Chris Young made his second start for Class A St. Lucie on Wednesday. Young, who tossed five scoreless innings his first time out, allowed three runs on seven hits and no walks in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out two. Young has a 2.53 ERA with St. Lucie. | It's definitely encouraging to see Young, who is recovering from shoulder surgery, make positive progress in the minors. ESPN.com reports the plan is for Young to move to Triple-A for his next outing and the team is hopeful he will be in the majors by June 1. Young is coming off a major shoulder surgery, so we need to temper expectations once he is back in the majors. Young will start out as an NL-only Fantasy option. (Updated 05/16/2012). |
