| Jones K’s three times in loss: Pirates outfielder Garrett Jones usually finds himself in the lineup for his prowess against right-handed pitchers, however on Friday he could not figure out Tigers’ starting pitcher Justin Verlander as he struck out three times in three plate appearances.
