by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Cano (quadriceps) was activated from the disabled list Tuesday.

As anticipated, Cano will return after missing the minimum 10 days required of a DL stint. He'll likely slot back into his normal place in the Mariners' lineup as the primary second baseman and three-hole hitter.

Mariners' Robinson Cano: Set to return Tuesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Cano (quadriceps) will be ready to return from the 10-day DL on Tuesday, when first eligible, Bob Dutton of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

He is recovering well from the quad strain that sidelined him earlier this month. Owners in weekly leagues should feel comfortable deploying him with the knowledge that he should be in the lineup Tuesday in Washington.

Mariners' Robinson Cano: Begins running Friday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Cano (quadriceps) completed some running drills Friday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Cano continues to progress quickly in his recovery process. No word on how intense the running was has been released, but nothing has come forth that suggests that the All Star second baseman won't be ready by the time he's eligible to return on May 23.

Mariners' Robinson Cano: Making progress from quad injury
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Cano (quadriceps) reports that he is feeling better and was scheduled to hit off a tee Thursday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Cano's target date for return continues to be next Tuesday, May 23 in Washington, which marks the beginning of an eight-game road trip. The veteran second baseman was enjoying his best offensive stretch of the season before the injury, hitting .438 with four home runs and 10 RBI in eight May contests.
