Cabrera replaced on roster by Pena: The Yankees replaced injured outfielder Melky Cabrera with backup infielder Ramiro Pena on their World Series roster. Cabrera left the Yankees' 7-4 win in Game 4 on Sunday night in the middle of the sixth inning with a slightly strained left hamstring. Cabrera took an awkward swing and appeared to hurt his leg while running out a grounder. Pena, picked over pinch-runner Freddy Guzman and No. 3 catcher Francisco Cervelli, has not appeared in a game since the regular-season finale on Oct. 4.

Fantasy Analysis

Cabrera is obviously done for the rest of the World Series. He finished the year with 13 home runs and 10 stolen bases, but he hit only .264 with five home runs and five steals after the All-Star break. He plays almost every day, but he's still more hype than production at this stage of his career. He'll likely go undrafted in most mixed leagues in 2010. Same goes for Pena, who's just a light-hitting utility infielder.
