| Gorzelanny earns long save: Nationals pitcher Tom Gorzelanny came out of the bullpen for an easy three-inning save on Wednesday against the Padres, scattering three hits for one run to close out a 7-2 win. | Gorzelanny had struggled mightily in his long-relief role previously, so it was a good sign that he was able to work quickly against the subpar Padres’ lineup. He lowered his ERA to 5.56 in the game. Gorzelanny is unlikely to see any time in the rotation, barring injury, so he should be ignored in all Fantasy formats at this time. (Updated 04/25/2012). |
