Corpas could return in postseason: Colorado reliever Manny Corpas (elbow spurs) will pitch in the Arizona instructional league soon and the team wouldn't rule out his return this month or next.

Fantasy Analysis

Corpas shouldn't be able to return before the end of the regular season and that is all Fantasy owners care about. Corpas was closing at one point this season but is now hardly worth owning in any format.

Corpas' return this season still remains questionable following right elbow surgery. He's currently throwing in the Arizona Instructional League. (Updated 11/08/2009)

Advice

Corpas, who hasn't pitched since July 20, has been on the disabled list following surgery to remove bone spurs from his throwing elbow. It's possible he'll be available to help the Rockies late in the regular season or in the playoffs should they advance.
