| Butler supplying power for K.C.: Royals first baseman Billy Butler only had one hit on Wednesday night against the Yankees but he made the most of it. He launched a solo home run off Andy Pettitte in the fourth inning for his ninth long ball of the year. Butler finished 1 for 4 in the 8-3 loss. | Butler has gotten off to a solid start this season and is slugging .527 through 43 games. He is on pace for a career campaign as long as he can keep up this pace so keep an eye on his progress going forward. The one knock on Butler has always been his lack of prolific power but the 26-year-old seems to be rectifying that this season.
