| Iannetta undergoes surgery : Angels catcher Chris Iannetta had surgery on his right wrist on Friday and the pisiform bone was removed. He'll be sidelined for six to eight weeks as he recovers from surgery. Iannetta was placed on the 15-day disabled list and the Halos recalled catcher John Hester. (Updated 05/11/2012) |

| Iannetta missed three games last week after getting hit by a pitch from Twins starter Liam Hendriks. He will likely be back before the All-Star break so keep an eye on his progress going forward. Bobby Wilson will likely see a large increase in playing time in his absence. He's batting just .197 on the year with three home runs and nine RBI. Fantasy owners in deeper mixed leagues should stash Iannetta until he's able to return to the lineup. (Updated 05/11/2012). |
