| Angels nix Weaver for final start: Angels SP Jered Weaver will not start the regular-season finale on Wednesday against Texas. Instead, Garrett Richards will get that start. Weaver struck out 198 over that span and finished his year with a loss against Oakland in which he went 8 1/3 with just two runs allowed and eight strikeouts.
