| Abreu could be odd man out: With the signing of star 1B Albert Pujols on Thursday, the Angels will need to shuffle their fielding strategy and that could leave OF Bobby Abreu without a starting job. Pujols is expected to play mainly at first base or designated hitter with Mark Trumbo being moved to the outfield. Los Angeles is also anticipating the return of Kendrys Morales from a broken ankle. "A lot of things remain to be seen, and a lot hinges on Kendrys' health, but we have a lot of depth now moving forward," Angels manager Mike Scioscia told the Los Angeles Times. | Los Angeles would reportedly have to assume a large portion of money in a deal for Abreu, who will turn 38 years old by opening day. While his batting average has decreased in recent seasons, he remains a strong on-base threat and posted a sturdy .353 OBP average last year.
