Todd Helton goes out with a bang
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com

Rockies first baseman Todd Helton was honored prior to Wednesday's game against the Red Sox, his last one at Coors Field. The 40-year-old then went out and produced a classic performance in a 15-5 loss.

Helton hit his 369th career home run in his first at-bat, his 227th and final one at the Rockies' home park. That was a solo shot, and he added two more RBI in the game, finishing 2 for 3 with three RBI and a run scored.

Helton has remained somewhat productive in a diminished role, as he heads into the season's final games with a .251/.317/.420 batting line. He has 15 home runs, the first time he has reached that mark since 2009.
