PITTSBURGH -- The Philadelphia Phillies recalled right-hander Yoel Hernandez from Triple-A Ottawa on Sunday to replace left-hander Mike Zagurski, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring.

Zagurski (1-0, 5.91 ERA) was injured while trying to field a ground ball in the eighth inning of the Phillies' 11-6 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday night.

Hernandez was 1-3 with a 3.94 ERA, 16 strikeouts and 14 walks in 22 games at Ottawa. He had no record and a 5.02 ERA in 13 games with the Phillies earlier this season, striking out 13 and walking one in 14 1/3 innings.
