After awful spring with Indians, reliever Fultz gets shot with Tigers

DETROIT -- Relief pitcher Aaron Fultz and the Detroit Tigers agreed to a minor league contract Saturday.

The 34-year-old left-hander will report to Triple-A Toledo. He was released Friday by the Cleveland Indians after compiling an 11.88 ERA in seven spring training appearances.

Fultz was 4-3 with a 2.92 ERA in 49 games for Cleveland in 2007. He is 25-15 with a 4.26 ERA in an eight-year career with the Phillies, Twins, Rangers, Giants and Indians.
