DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers optioned right-handed pitcher Chris Lambert to Toledo and recalled infielder Jeff Larish from the Triple-A team Wednesday.
Lambert made major league debut Tuesday night in a 10-4 loss to Cleveland. He got the loss, allowing six runs -- two earned -- and five hits in 2 2/3 innings.
Larish was hitting .250 at Toledo with 21 home runs and 64 RBI. Earlier this season with Detroit, he hit .249 (12-for-49) with two home runs and 10 RBI in 18 games.
