Offseason Rumors: Who is getting traded and where are the free agents going?
What's The Latest:
Nationals GM Jim Bowden expects the free agent market to get moving within the next ten days. Bowden still hopes to add a left-handed middle of the order bat as well as starting pitching.
A Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report suggests OF Corey Hart hopes to avoided an arbitration hearing; he and the Brewers are $1.1 million apart on his 2009 salary. Hart turned down a long-term extension last year but remains open to the idea.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette suggests the Pirates have an eye on free agent starter Braden Looper . The Dodgers and D'Backs are other teams in the market for the 34 year-old hurler.

Where will Manny Ramirez land?
Rosen: Dodgers. He already turned down the two-year offer, but once he realizes he won't get more elsewhere Manny will stay in LA where he was happy.... and productive.
Kay: Dodgers. There the only place that has the combination of money and temperament to satisfy this guy (once he realizes he's not getting more than four years).
Cimilluca: Trying to see what goes on inside his head is a mission not for the faint of heart. I think my heart hurts!
Brakinball I think LA will offer Manny enough to stay there. Manny won't be loyal to anyone, but LA being in such a large market can compete for Manny's services in their currenty position elsewhere on the team. They've got to sign someone else though too.
