Marlins SS Ramirez leaves game with groin injury

PHILADELPHIA -- Hanley Ramirez left Florida's game against Philadelphia with tightness in his right groin on Tuesday night.

Ramirez got hurt while beating out a grounder to shortstop for an infield single in the third inning. He stayed in the game for defense, but came out with two outs in the bottom half. His status is unknown.

The All-Star shortstop is batting .320 with eight homers and 22 RBI.
