CINCINNATI -- First baseman Chad Tracy has rejoined the Arizona Diamondbacks for the start of their series against the Cincinnati Reds.
The Diamondbacks activated Tracy off the disabled list Tuesday and optioned reliever Leo Rosales to Triple-A Reno. Tracy missed 27 games with strained muscles in his right side. He was batting .203 with four homers and 17 RBI when he got hurt.
Rosales went 1-0 in 11 relief appearances with a 5.40 earned run average.
