Reds call up RHP Carlos Fisher

DENVER (AP) -Right-hander Carlos Fisher has been called up from the minors by the Cincinnati Reds.

Fisher appeared in two games for rookie league affiliate Sarasota, allowing a hit and no runs in two innings of work. He had been optioned to Sarasota between games of a day-night doubleheader between Cincinnati and Pittsburgh on Aug. 31.

Earlier this season, the 26-year-old Fisher had a 4.05 ERA in 34 appearances with the Reds.
