Braves switch outfielders, call up Blanco, designate Clevlen
CINCINNATI -- The Braves switched outfielders before the second game of their series against the Reds, calling up Gregor Blanco and designating Brent Clevlen for assignment.
Blanco batted .310 in 36 games with Atlanta earlier this season. He batted .286 at Triple-A Gwinnett with one homer and 11 RBI in 44 games.
Clevlen missed two months with a sprained big toe on his right foot. He was activated on July 27 and appeared in four games, going 1 for 4.
