SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Relatives of the San Francisco Giants fan who was brutally beaten outside Dodger Stadium two months ago say they're grateful the main suspect is in custody.
The parents and two sisters of Bryan Stow made a brief appearance Monday outside San Francisco General Hospital.
Stow, a 42-year-old paramedic, is being treated there for a traumatic brain injury suffered in the March attack.
Los Angeles raided an East Hollywood apartment building Sunday and arrested 31-year-old Giovanni Ramirez on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
Stow's sister Erin Collins says her family never gave up hope and thanked the Los Angeles Police Department for its exhaustive efforts.
Police are still seeking a second attacker and a woman suspected of driving the pair from the scene.
Stow remains in critical but stable condition under heavy sedation.
