Mets add Brewers' Herrera as part of Rodriguez deal
WASHINGTON -- The New York Mets added left-handed pitcher Daniel Herrera to the roster for Friday's game with the Nationals.
Herrera was acquired on Thursday as one of the two players in the deal that sent Francisco Rodriguez to Milwaukee on July 12.
Herrera pitched in two games with the Brewers this year, and appeared in 113 games from 2008-10 with Cincinnati. He is 5-7 with a 3.94 in his major league career.
