News
Trout hit his 17th homer and doubled twice in a 3-for-4 game Monday against the Astros.

Trout is on fire, with at least two hits in each of his past five games and six of his past seven. He has also homered in three straight games and is on pace to record his third straight season of 35 or more home runs. His batting line is up to .319/.415/.572 as he continues to make a push for his second MVP award despite the incompetence of his supporting cast.

News
Aybar is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets.

After making eight straight starts for the Braves at shortstop, Aybar will get the afternoon off in favor of Chase d'Arnaud. Since returning from the DL, Aybar is 12-for-40 at the plate (.300) with five doubles.

News
Santana didn't factor into the decision Saturday versus the Yankees, surrendering six hits, an earned run and two walks over five innings. He struck out two.

The 33-year-old righty put together a second consecutive solid start, pitching well in what can be a tough park for pitchers. Santana lowered his ERA for a second straight outing, and the effort may well have been his best of June. He'll try to add to his two-win total next Friday when he faces the Rangers.

Injuries
Elbow - Expected to be out until at least Aug 1 (Updated - 6/28/16)
News
Richards (elbow) underwent an evaluation and was asymptomatic but will rest for six more weeks, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.

It appears that the stem-cell therapy Richards underwent in May is having a positive effect, and Richards's season may not actually be lost to Tommy John surgery as was once thought. He will likely need a long rehab assignment even if he is able to go after six more weeks of rest, however, so a late July or early August return is about as optimistic a prognosis as this news can allow.

News
Morales went 4-for-4 and drove in two runs in Monday's win over the Cardinals.

Morales is 8-for-12 with two homers, three runs scored and five RBI over the past three games as Morales is finally starting to wake up this season. After opening June with a brutal .193/.262/.330 batting line, he is now hitting a more respectable .243/.309/.406 after Monday's performance, largely thanks to four multi-hit games in his past six starts.

News
Trumbo went 2-for-5 with his 22nd home run of the season and three RBI in Sunday's win over the Rays.

He's been amazingly consistent in the power department this year, slugging six homers in April and nine in May before tacking on seven so far in June. Trumbo's already matched his HR total from 2015, and seems all but certain to top his previous career high of 34 set back in 2013 with the Angels.
