Orioles pitcher Miguel Gonzalez took a loss Sunday, giving up two earned runs on six hits in 6 1/3 innings and striking out three in his team's 2-1 defeat against the Cubs.

It was a good performance by Gonzalez (6-7) in his return to the majors after being recalled earlier in the day, but his offense wasn't able to get much done against Tsuyoshi Wada and the Cubs bullpen. Gonzalez owns a 3.75 ERA and 83:41 K:BB ratio in 120 innings. He's scheduled to face the Twins Friday.
