Orioles first baseman Chris Davis has found his power stroke recently, as he slugged his third home run in five games in a 9-1 win over the Twins Friday.

Weber broke the game open with his fourth inning home run, a grand slam that put the Orioles up fro good. He finished the game 1 for 3 with a walk, two runs scored and four driven in.

Davis' batting average continues to tumble, as he has just three hits over his last five games, but all have gone over the fence, helping his cause. He now has 24 home runs and 67 RBI in 407 at-bats on the season.

Pearce was not in the team's lineup Tuesday due to an abdominal strain. Despite being out, Pearce is improving. He's hit .289/.354/.532 over 284 at-bats.

Orioles pitcher Chris Tillman was unable to factor into the decision Saturday night at home against the Twins. The right-hander permitted one run on six hits and three walks while striking out six over five innings of a 3-2 victory.

Tillman has allowed one earned run or fewer in each of his last three starts. He owns a 3.36 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP over 29 starts (176 2/3 innings). He will make his next start Thursday at home against Cincinnati.

Hardy was sidelined Tuesday due to back spasms. The injury is not considered serious, and manager Buck Showalter believes Hardy will return to action Wednesday. Hardy is hitting .280/.317/.393 over 471 at-bats.
