News
Nolasco didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 11-9 victory over the Red Sox, giving up six earned runs on six hits and three walks over two innings. He struck out two.

The veteran righty simply didn't have it Saturday, throwing a whopping 65 pitches over his two frames and getting touched up for four runs in the second inning alone on a Dustin Pedroia ground-rule double and a three-run shot by Hanley Ramirez. The outing was Nolasco's shortest of the season, and the six earned runs equaled his second-highest total in that category in 2016. The 33-year-old has given up 13 runs (12 earned) over three of his last four starts, and has surrendered at least one homer in six of his last seven trips to the mound. He'll look to bounce back when he takes on the White Sox next Friday.

Stanton went 4-for-5 with a homer and three RBI in a victory over the Mets on Saturday.

The big right-hander had just one hit in his previous 13 at-bats, so it was nice to see him break out again. This was his first home run since winning the Home Run Derby. Stanton is hitting .241 with 21 homers, 55 RBI and 44 runs in 311 at-bats.

Ribs - Expected to be out until at least Jul 27 (Updated - 7/22/16)
News
Coghlan (ribs) will begin a rehab assignment on Friday with Double-A Tennessee, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Coghlan was placed on the disabled list by the Cubs on July 3. On the season, Coghlan is struggling, hitting just .155 with five home runs and 14 RBI in 194 at-bats. Since being traded to the Cubs, Coghlan has played only left and right field. With the emergence of Willson Contreras, Coghlan will have a hard time finding consistent playing time with the Cubs.

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and two runs scored in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Twins.

Ramirez has apparently found his power stroke this past week. He hit just eight homers in his first 85 games, but Sunday's blast was his fifth in the last five games.

News
Cishek notched his 23rd save by striking out the side in the ninth inning in Friday's 2-1 victory over the Blue Jays. He also gave up a hit and a walk.

As he often does, Cishek managed to make things interesting before wiggling out of trouble. He threw 26 pitches in total, just two days after firing 38 in a two-inning stint versus the White Sox. The 30-year-old now has three straight scoreless outings, and has lowered his ERA from 3.15 to 2.86 over that span.

Injuries
Wrist - Probable for Jul 26 (Updated - 7/24/16)
News
Morrison (wrist) is reportedly "feeling better" and could find himself back in the lineup on Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Although there had been speculation he might make it back in the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the A's, manager Kevin Cash opted to leverage Monday's off day as a way to buy Morrison two extra days of rest. The veteran first baseman looks likely to return for the first of a two-game set against the Dodgers on Tuesday barring any unforeseen setbacks.

News
Sanchez (5-11) allowed four runs on 10 hits while striking out five over six innings, but received no decision Sunday at the White Sox.

Sanchez gave up a three-run homer in the second inning to Adam Eaton and he left with a 4-0 lead, but the offense came up with an eruption in the eighth and ninth innings to take him off the hook for a potential loss. He's now allowed 19 earned runs in his last 20.1 innings over four starts to raise his ERA to 6.56. He'll make his next start Saturday against the Astros.
