| Team Information |
| The Chicago Cubs, based in Chicago, Ill., participate in Major League Baseball (MLB) and are a member of the National League Central Division. The Cubs were founded as the Chicago White Stockings in 1876, then became the Chicago Colts in 1890 and the Chicago Orphans in 1898. They finally settled on the Cubs in 1902. Since 1916, the Cubs have played their home games at Wrigley Field. The club has won two World Championships (1907,1908). |
