The All-Star Game voting results are in and once again there will be fans all over the league using forums such as this to protest that their guy was overlooked because of biased voting from the big markets or just the stupidity of the fan in general of voting in someone like Josh Hamilton.  The modern age has let people ...(more)

I gotta give props to a guy whose salary is a decimal point to the right compared to that of Joe Nathan (who pitches about 1/3 the innings of Blackburn). Nick Blackburn, a starting pitcher for the Minnesota T ...(more)

When I watch Scott Baker pitch, I don't see a guy who was supposed to be the ace of our staff going into the season. I don't see a guy who's tough and gritty, willing to hang in there and get the tough outs. What I see frustrates the heck out of me. He seems to have that 4th grader type look of "Mommy help me!" I know he had a fe ...(more)

I know it's only June16th, but we've all been watching the unbelievable start of Joe Mauer and my question is can it last? I know there are hills and valleys in a season, good and bad stretches etc, but can Joe hit .400 for the season? Is it possible? Ted Williams was the last to do it. Rod Carew was the last to come close in lik ...(more)
