Nelson Cruz on the bench. Really?

Before the June swoon that he (and every Ranger) went into, Cruz was a legit All Star contender. After the way he finished last year and started this year, I think I'd have him playing almost every day. Murphy, Byrd, and Jones should be taking turns with the night off for the most part and allowing Cruz and his big cannon arm to start in RF at least 6 times a week. I hope this is ...(more)

Feliz a Relief

The experiment putting Neftali in the bullpen seems to be working. In his last five appearances he's gone 6.2 innings giving up 0 runs, 2 hits one walk. If he keeps this up they're going to have to bring him up.

The Texas Rangers, based in Arlington, Texas, participate in Major League Baseball (MLB) and are a member of the American League West Division. The Rangers were founded as the Washington Senators in 1961 and became the Texas Rangers in 1972. Since 1994, they have played their home games at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. The club has not won a World Series.
