The Cubs need to go after Dan Uggla to fill 2B. There are zero candidates available thru free agency that would fit what the Cubs need. Trade some young talent to the Marlins for Uggla and soon since

They were saying on MLBTraderumors that Stephen Drew will probably be put on the trading block,so why not trade for Drew and move Theriot over to 2nd,Drew would add a left hand bat to the lineup.Then the Cubs could spend the money on decent bullpen help for the first time

After reading through some posts around here and there was some that were OK ideas, but most were just flat out stupid. Some like trading for Dan Uggla. Why? We hrave a lousy defensive 2B. The other was signing Chone Figgins, just what we need another aging

We are all pretty well aware of the Cubs needs this off season (or at least what we assume them to be now). Lets play a game.
The Cubs needs are as follows:
- A centerfielder that can either bat lead off or be an RBI type guy
- A second baseman that can do the things above
- A shortst
