Okay, we are entering July and somehow, someway, we are in contention. I would say that this 6 game homestand is vitally important for the franchise. I say this because I think that Walt Jocketty and Castellini are watching these games to see if we should go ahead with a trade, or whether one guy is not going to be enough to put us over the top in the central. The worst defeat in 100 years doesn't mean the season is over. It should be a wake up call....it's not like this isn't a trend...there have been several bowouts lately, and it isn't luck...it's the way this team plays.
I hope the players, coaches and especially the manager Dusty Baker, GM Walt Jocketty, and owner Bob Castellini are more embarrassed than us fans are (If that is possible
