QUOTE TO NOTE
"Colorado Springs is a tough place to pitch a lot of times. More than anything, just mentally, it got to me. I really wanted to get back to this level, so I probably didn't have the focus I needed. Other than that, I feel pretty good." -- RHP Matt Daley, who joined the Rockies and pitched a scoreless inning Friday after going 0-2 record with a 6.28 ERA in 17 games with Class AAA Colorado Springs. Nine of the 10 earned runs he allowed in 14 1/3 innings in the minors came in his last three outings.
