--LF Alex Gordon doubled in the fourth inning to extend his hitting streak to 19 games, the longest active streak in the majors and the best run of his career. Gordon is 31-for-81 (.383) in the streak.
--RF Jeff Francoeur singled Tuesday to expand his hitting streak to 15 games, one shy of his career high. Francoeur, who is hitting .322 for the season, had a 16-game hitting streak in May 2006 with the Braves.
--RHP Luke Hochevar yielded three home runs in 6 1/3 innings in a loss Tuesday at Cleveland. Hochevar has surrendered an American League-high nine home runs in 38 innings.
--DH Billy Butler doubled Tuesday, giving him a hit in a club-record 112 consecutive series. He went just 1-for-11 in the three-game series at Texas, but did keep his series streak alive. The only big-league player with a longer active streak is Orioles OF Nick Markakis, whose run is at 145 consecutive series.
--CF Melky Cabrera won the American League Cactus League batting title and has carried over his hot hitting into the season. He went 3-for-4 with a double and home run Tuesday to hike his average to .301.
